I’m a multimedia journalist studying journalism and international reporting at the University of Missouri — Columbia.

In the fall of 2016, I interned at Reuters news agency in Brussels, Belgium, splitting my time between the TV and text desks. I enjoyed four months of reporting on diverse topics ranging from the EU and Belgian politics to explicit street murals and Belgian beer.

That spring, I interned at NBC News network bureau in Los Angeles, where I worked on Nightly News with Lester Holt and the TODAY Show. I logged tapes, pitched story ideas, found sources and assisted on shoots. I continued my time with NBC News at its headquarters in New York as a social media intern.

This spring, I’ll continue to develop my reporting skills through an internship at the Columbia Business Times and position as a Graphics Reporter for the Columbia Missourian. In February, I’m heading to Stamford, Connecticut for a Winter Olympics internship with NBC Sports.

I like making complex but important issues easier to understand and telling stories with passionate people behind them.
